Indian Armed Forces Undertake Large-Scale Exercise to Check Their Operational Capability

brisk military exercises this week involving the Indian Armed Forces established readiness in operational efficiency and synergy through a large scale TABLEX exercise aimed at over mainland India’s sensitive strategic areas that include borders, coasts, and the sky. The military exercise was conducted by the jointly by the Indian Army, Navy, and air force in which the key six objectives of the military exercise were to test the operational effectiveness, combat readiness, co-ordination of the forces, and quick deployment that exists during the wartime.

The Indian equivalent of war games, which is carried out annually as a defense workout, involves application of live weapons, aerial reconnaissance, amphibious forcible from the sea, airborne low-intensity combatant evacuation operations simulation, and cyber-space management drill. From the military point of view, certain important aspects of this year’s drill were:

Control of border and infiltration along vulnerable areas that adjoin sectors sons in Jammu & Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

Indian navy continues surveillance patrols along the east and west coasts of India in order to check piracy attacks, Kempland exercises its naval interdiction.

Military air defense engagement scenarios with home-grown fighter aircraft and reconnaissance UAVs.

Military and espionage maneuvers to practice responding to fake cyber incidences and resultant compromises of communication networks.

The exercise also revealed indigenous defense technologies, such as drones, smart surveillance systems with an AI-based threat detection system, being made under the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ campaign, meaning ‘self-reliant India.

The drills were rather traditional and were conducted in accordance with the yearly plans and schedules The timing of the drills may be seen as intentionally targeting the rising tensions in the region in order to signal to the Indian government that India is ready to protect its sovereignty and vital interests
