Catastrophic Flash Floods Ravage Central Texas: Over 100 Lives Lost, Rescue Efforts Intensify

Investigators Hunt Down Flash Flood Killer: More than 100 people killed, rescuers work round the clock in Central Texas: Rescue efforts are on the intensified mode as more than 100 people have lost their lives due to catastrophic flash flooding in Central Texas

Blazing Fury, Flash Floods
The Central Texas is recovering against one of its deadliest drought flash floods in decades. The remnants of Tropical Storm Barry led to a strong rain that lasted over the weekend break of July 4, especially due to a severe Storm tie-up and up to 20 inches of rain being experienced over several hours. The flood forced the Guadalupe River and accompanying rivers to surge spectacularly as they ballooned more than 25 feet within one hour in regions such as Hunt and Kerrville

According to the blooming search, the number of deaths has increased.
The confirmed deaths within Kerr County have now reached more than 84 and the state-wide deaths exceed 100

At least 28 children died, with dozens more of them, both campers and counselors of Camp Mystic, a historic Christian summer camp still missing

The number of people rescued so far by rescue teams has exceeded 850+ people and the search is underway in the threat of additional rain and unstable grounds

Camp Mystic Takes It on The Chin
Camp Mystic, in Kerr county, was the most horrible loser:

There are 27 dead campers and counselors; 10 campers and 1 counselor are unaccounted.

Richard Eastland, who was the camp owner, also died heroically by trying to rescue campers

Reports by counselors document passengers being stuck in totally flooded cabins with water levels up to several feet deep

Huge Outpouring of troops.
Governor Greg Abbott issued a state of emergency in several counties of the Hill Country

The federal government made a federal disaster declaration; FEMA and US Coast Guard persons are in the field in response

The Drones are working along with more than 1,200 rescue workers in the flood ravaged areas relaying on helicopter teams.

Alert Systems under attack
Weakened forecasting infrastructure has been cited as one of the critics:

Early warnings could have been slowed or lessened by budget cuts by the National Weather Service (a NOAA agency)

The fact that systems that warned of flash floods known as Flash Flood Alley have been removed earlier in Kerr County has been brought back to the spotlight

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem didn t deny failures and said she would improve things
The Unstoppable Risk and Aid Mobilization
Caretakers have cautioned that even extra rainfalls may occur 10 inches more of rainfall is likely to come and this has increased flashing risks once again.

There are relief activities such as huge airlifts of food, water, healthcare, and temporary shelters. There is also support being given by the community groups and sports teams .

Big Picture: Climate Suggestion and the Required Healing
This catastrophe brings to the fore:

The worsening of the extreme conditions of weather associated with climate changes.

The need to have strong flood forecast systems and early warnings and strong infrastructure.

The state and federal roles in preparing and responding to disasters The question of who is to take the responsibility of preparing and responding to disasters has been facing debate between the state and federal governments.

Concluding the discussion, it can be stated that the program for GPS navigation is a complex matter with the help of which it is possible to solve the tasks of navigational support for long voyages along the routes of Charles Dickens.
